...it'll be OK, the nasty stuff's out now ;)

I installed this Wolfbox G930 about a week ago and I've been really liking it! I got the non-wifi version as an open box from their Ebay store. The display + upgraded camera + hard mount was $130 or so out-the-door. I've just got the camera on the inside of the rear glass, and even still it's great! Definitely a wider, clearer field of view than just a rear view mirror provides. It'll be great once I get a rear tire carrier bumper. Excuse the messy garage - anyone need some stock LX470 wheels? 🤣

I did however forget to order the $20 adaptor needed to use a hard mount with the Wolfbox (rather than strapping it to the existing mirror) - however, nothing some CAD and a 3D printer can't fix! Mimicked the airflow properties of the 'official' adaptor.

Finally, I've been burning the midnight oil working on CAD designs for both 3D printed & metal parts for @MongooseGA to sell over at TAG. Here's a sneak peak of something that's batch printing now - I love having a decent 3D scanner to capture contours accurately!

This week we fitted a GMT hi flow billet turbo to our HDJ101 1hdfte cruiser. Boost was set to 16psi by adjusting the wastegate actuator rod and a diesel smart fuel cut defender was installed. New exhaust manifold studs, gaskets and nuts, all hoses and turbo oil and coolant pipers replaced. It also has an 3” GMT Intake and Beaudesert dump pipe/exhaust. Engine is going very well and the increased power is a welcome addition.

Finally took the time to run the ham radio antenna wire, a power cable for front fuse box (supply the ham radio itself and have expandability), and the high speed charger for my EcoFlow delta 3 power bank charger. Had to pull the auxiliary lifePo4 battery out to do this so took the opportunity to clean up the dual battery and Redarc BCDC stuff.

Think I am going to sub out these:

For this:

I need to add one more midi fuse and the 7720 were much bigger than I realized when I ordered them.

First-time post for me. Long time reader!

Making my way through maintenance baseline. I’ve done oil, Alignment, filters, rear seatbelt replacements, radiator, etc. Decided to knock out greasing drivetrain, front and rear differential oil, and transfer case today.

I’m pretty sure diffs snd transfer case hadn’t seen new fluid in a long time, if ever. For those of you on the fence about baselining, unless you have maintenance records explicitly stating work was performed, assume it was not. My Cruiser had several annotations in its dealer records stating “fluids filled” or “fluids topped off.”

Fluid looks fairly new

Nice weather outside. Felt like a good time to fire up the pressure washer and give the trucks a much needed bath.

The hundy got to do tow duty today. I didn't feel like digging the Super Duty out of it's winter slumber, and the Lexus was still outside after getting back from Florida so it got hooked to the trailer instead. Didn't have to go far and it performed fine honestly. Just a fresh enduro car, nothing exciting.

New rear axle seals and orings (and parking brake shoes) for the LX. New item to add to you baseline - axle breathers. My rear was not breathing. None of the parts stores had the correct size seal driver, so I found the perfect substitute - a 2” PVC fitting. $5 and it couldn’t fit more perfect to drive that sucker in straight. I held a piece of 2x6 against it and drove it with a hammer.

Where in CO are you located? We're moving near Denver this summer.
That particular photo looks like Tulsa. And the neighbor across the street has a cool something in the garage

We’re in the Arvada area, which does look a bit like parts of Tulsa!

Good eye spotting the r32.

Drove it a lot this week.
4 fillups

Got the best mileage ever in the 12 years I've owned it.

21.2 mpg. All highway at 55mph.

The computer range is off in this pic though as it was after fillup.

I finally stopped for gas at 421.9 miles after fill up. Apparently just before the low fuel light was to come on. I put in 20.2 gallons.
20.82 mpg for this fill up.

At that rate I had over 500 mile range.!

Slick top no roof rack with Stock sized Michelin LTX M/S at 36psi cold. Approx 39psi once warmed up.

Oh and synthetic 5W-30 no 0W Mumbo jumbo
