That's accurate. Three of the "Big Hose Clamps" are the same size, and the fourth (clamps hose to bottom of radiator) is larger.
Please replace those hoses as well, they've been cut by the worm gear -- and if they are the originals then...
Those clamps look awful ...
Good call to replace those. Here's some PN I found:
Alternator has 4 holes that the pipe attaches to. There's also other hoses around you can buy you can check the parts document, the clamps get rusted out over time...
A 2500 suburban with a duramax swap is about as good as it gets, that's one of my dream rigs. Not that hard to do, you can also find them already done for like 15-20k.
6.0 is a hell of a motor as well, gas mileage isn't even that bad compared to...
Thought I'd post this question here. I'm looking for the part #s for these hose clamps.
When I got my radiator replaced a few years ago by a local shop that does a lot of LCs, they used worm clamps.
I had some water damage in the rounded edge on bottom of rear doors, I just mixed up some resin and covered it. I just let it absorb into the fiber board as well as it would, but the above idea of just dropping a layer of fabric in it, would be...
Can’t believe I’ve owned this for 10yrs, how time flys. Wife was complaining about not being able to see at night driving it, so it was time to address the badly faded and cloudy headlights. I had buffed these out with restoration kits a couple...
This was a fun project.
Having read the horror stories and wanting to take preventative measures, I made my own Cat Shields.
I work in IT and have a 10-year-old Mac Pro in need of recycling.

Just did the passenger side cam cover seal on my LX. 3.5 hours it took me to do the job that included cleaning and fighting the completely dried out seal and spark plug seals. It was more like plastic than it was malleable rubber. Original owner...
Had a lifted 80 series from 2001 to 2015…just purchased this 87k mile 2007 LX in amazing condition and added the tires and wheels as well as full maintenance. Everything works well with exception of the speaker used for Bluetooth calls. Think I...
I have similar trail habits as the OP. I went with tough dog, with the adjustable rears. Seem to work well.
Only pain in the ass is sliding under the rear to adjust pre/post dirt.
This.
Our version of washboard is ocean wave corrugations - for example the Mereenie Loop (in central Australia) and the Peninsula Development road (far north Queensland). These are exacerbated by multi trailer road trains travelling over them...
Are these valve cover bolts made from recycled chewing gum?
Was going slow - loosening then tightening - was blasting them with PB. But still - snapped off 3 on the bottom row. Inc ofc the bugger near the firewall. The first two of the nine...
This morning my wife crashed her 1999 LC into an Acura MDX. Somehow the cruiser came out WAY worse. And I have no idea why the airbags didn't go off.
The truck is super clean with 200K miles on it. I've been working on cars my entire life but I...
I came across a picture of my Land Cruiser from the original listing back in 2007 (bought it from the original owner). Thought you might enjoy the transformation over 17 years of ownership!
Note the factory chrome wheels (gag), the tubular side...
