Did you have many steep grades or hills to tow it up? We have an 82 Sea Ray that weighs somewhere around 5500 lbs with trailer and it was a lot to pull up some of the steeper hills. Running 255/85 16 tires which are just a hair taller than standard 33's so that hurts it a bit on the steep grades while towing.
