-A

Not sure, just got denied on the wanted date for the wilderness permit and settled for Aug 20 th now :( it's like 150f in bodie in August, no?

Just barely, I had to make 1/4 inch deep spots for the fridge feet to sit in the plywood, and the lid jambs against the plastic of the hatch interior, but it can go full open.

You can always get the Wagongear side hinges, which is what I ended up doing.. Works like a charm, I dont have any pics of it open but you can open the lid with no issues with the rear storage.

When I put new rear hatch struts from McMaster Carr on, I gained an inch or so in hatch height when open. If this is an issue for you, might be worth looking into, especially if your struts are getting weak from old age.

Like my co-worker used to always say (he's 6'10" and black so there were always assumptions, all incorrect it turned out), "I may not be able to reach the bottom of the tuna can, but I can beat the hell outta the sides".

:flipoff2:

Phil, I think we have a new name for you :flipoff2:
When I asked my wife for permission to get some strange her reply is if you grew a little bit you would get some

well, kind of got pissed at amazon.com

Ordered a ARB awning, it arrived in a cardboard tube with both ends wide open so both ends of the awning were damaged. Also ordered the mounting brackets for the Rhino Rack HD bars... they sent the wrong ones.. so had to re-order both items and working on returning them.

Made a 1,500 mile round trip trek & went camping at Big Bend Ranch State Park. Did a write up in the Trails-Expedtion section here.

Exact same experience when I ordered my ARB awning :(

Note to self: obviously Amazon has the best deal but don't be a cheap ass bastard and instead get from a MUD vendor who will probably pack it correctly.

Can you tell me how you attached your awning to the Yakima towers?

Have hit my head a few times on my grab handles so my 13 year old son and I were brainstorming. He whipped up a paracord handle. This is a pic of the DS entry assist handle (or whatever it's called). Going to have him make them for all of my handles. The two strings I have pulled off to the side have now been cut and melted. Just used D Ring hardware and the existing holes and screw. Will trim the D Ring hardware so the extra hole isn't there. Will probably paint it too to make it fancy. And it passes my field testing. I weight 240 lbs and am 6'2".
