First I have to find a way to force that plastic piece from the cable onto the metal bracket without breaking it....anyone else have this problem?
WTF today i asked for that same sound system and they said the least they could do was $250,i was thinking of buying it for christmass, but now i'm sure as hell not buying it
Was that an installed price? Looks like you could do it for less than $200 through amazon, really good results, easy install. Looks like you need to shop around, good luck
Finally got around to mostly getting the 8274 winch back together. Gotta get a new o-ring for the free spool handle. Hope to have it finished and mounted by the weekend.

Removed the ARB and installed a new front bumper built by wasnt me of Redeye Fabrication.
Need to reinstall the winch later this week

there's a notched groove that the bracket slides into - you may have to scrape a bit of the paint off the interior of the fork on the bracket.
Cool move. It should be quite nice once you've de-uglied it as you suggest.
I'm still pretty new to the 80/whole Toyota thing so these are pretty new to me. I really like the wrong-hand-drive idea just for something different. (Diesel helps, too.)

I don't drive the truck but he never had any issues with noise that he had told me. I had rebuilt the front axle using Marlin seals (I know this could be the problem) and a few thousand K later there were soup in the knuckles again.... Talking to some well known guys around here we figured that it could be the spindle bushing was worn and not centering the axle shafts properly.... hence retrofitting to the needle bearings.
$300 installed, with a 1 year warrenty
