Wired the selinoid for the winch. Stretched and re-wound wire line and installed hand throttle.

Sent with my sausage fingers on phone

That's the one! Thanks, it works great!

that's what I was wondering as well

Took the family for a ride looking for fall colors in the Capitol State Forest, WA. Mt. Rainier was out today and was beautiful.

Replaced LSPV, replaced plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor. Bled brakes. Got the tools to install my dorkel. That goes on tomorrow. Replaced PCV valve, grommet, and both hoses on my other 80, and bypassed charcoal canister.

Set up at deer camp and helped haul a buddies buck from way down in a ravine. Thigh burner fer sure made more interesting with the fresh snow.

Installed new Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS.

Pulled dash.

Soldered wiring harness and finished with shrink-wrap.

Today's project will be to install Kicker Hideaway sub and new cables. I will keep updated on progress. Also bought a bunch of Dynamat to sound deaden.

Looking to do the same. Can you share any pics?

Thanks for the pics. I used to mountain bike there and lived a few minutes away.

I test fit my new SUV Explorer 2. Fits well on the 80 however the rear hatch (top) isn't quite wide enough to fill the corners of the tent. I got the larger version. I just cut a long piece of thin wood with a strip of soft rubber to run over the back of the hatch (over the LandCruiser text).....works perfectly. The tent sure does make for a lot of extra space and if one was resourceful you could easily extent the length with some kind of makeshift tailgate and hatch extension. You could probably get another foot or so out of it. My hatch shocks are little weak with the tension of the tent so I had to make a pole stop. All in all.......can't wait to get out for some camping and this should work well with my side/rear tent.

Installed some GTP hood vents, fixed the snorkel that was pulled out of the pillar mount at GSMTR this summer and relocated the winch solenoid under the hood then went wheeling with a bunch of friends at the Southern Cruiser Crawl event in Hot Springs and had a blast as usual :D

Took an obligatory flex shot from yesterday's ride and turned it into a sketch with Photo Editor.

That came out great, Cheers!

Here are pics as requested.

I will start another thread on the install so I dont clutter up this one, but there are a bunch of things I have learned along the way. The biggest disappointment has been that once you get the iPhone 5, you HAVE to redo the whole USB cable configuration and buy one of their kits for over $100 if you want to use AppRadio.

Also, the parking brake wire safety feature makes no sense for Waze. It does not let you use Waze unless you are parked. Since it is a NAV system, it completely makes no sense. Sooo, I am now in the process of overriding it. In the separate post I will detail how to do that.
