Met up with @Feldrian and got stuck
The snow pulled me into the ditch and my winch pulled me out

Just interesting that a trail that tough with no lockers and 33 was passable
265/75r16 (31.5x11)…That's what I'm running.
I'll update to 35's probably next year once I add a 2" lift and bumpers.

Adding trail info 👍👍
We ended this small trail and took a side trail…which was much harder, in my opinion. Particularly with the mud.

I'm not doubting you.
I didn't think you were :)
I shared the info just for sharing's sake.
The red was what a member of the group I was with had circled.

Thinking about it...it probably came off from my side like "What, don't believe me?"...apologies...it's been a day.

I used to run a lot of the tougher trails around colorado and utah on 265's. More drama but also pretty fun. Definitely a different experience than 35's and locked.

Been a bit of a busy bee this past week-&-end... Gave the glorious spare tire swing out DIY kit to a welder after sitting on it for several years without any good reason. Ordered and received a DEPO 100 series aux fan to hopefully help with mediocre A/C performance here in Florida. And, at the risk of running into hippy-dippy forest people (google "Rainbow gatherings") drove deep into Ocala National Forest in order to recharge. The little gator hole/lake was only 150 feet or so from my camp and that's were I attempted to fish but only ended up catching the ol' dick-skinner with a wee-barbed-hook (all the puns are intended). On the way back to civilization, plowed through some deep, soft, sugar sand and got my photo taken at this bomb (I think that's what the kids are saying these days) range.

In reply to OkieOverland:

I recently installed a pair of Carhartt brand universal covers on the front seats on my 1997 80 Series.

Look decent with the tan interior. I actually purchased a square yard of Carhartt brown "duck" canvas and created a cover for the center console. Turned out okay for a first try at something like this!

This is a long time project because my f100 is going to suck my funds for a while but I've decided against a full time locker. I was going to run a selectable front and lokka lunchbox style rear mostly due to cost and ease of install. After watching a jeep flail helplessly in the snow because he couldn't track straight when locked up. I decided that being able to unlock will be worth the cost.

Thankfully he was open to the suggestion of unlocking so he could get moving straight

I've run full time in the past but always on rigs with part time cases and locking hubs.

Received some less than ideal news from the team at Blackstone this weekend. They say it's "relatively mild, what's the hive

Replace your heat exchanger orings in the oil cooler under the exaust manifold. Your fine. They just leak on the FZJ’s after a while. Then flush your oil cooler when its out with simple green to restore a good flow and flush the whole water system while ur in there. Change all the hoses (rear heater) and refill with Toy red / distilled or deionized water. Not pink! Eats the welds

Interesting
My '97 isn't triple locked, but she is fully stock (minus the stereo), down to the 265 AT tires 👍

At some point I might add lockers, but right now they are way down on the priority list.
In the almost 8 years I've owned her, I've never needed them. Then again, I'm not climbing rock walls at Moab ;)
I purposely got stuck this weekend with the wife and kids, just so i could flip on my arb air lockers and say “look aren't they cool! Totally worth it honey!!”
