@Highway Romping @brices123
What do you guys think about some "CSC Racing" stickers? I was thinking about getting some stickers made for the RC car bodies, all mine are painted in Toyota TRD Ivan Stuart colors.
Do we have the CSC Logo file...
bumping this up to the top again. It's hot and this is a decent way to still play in the dirt with trucks. I've been going on Sundays, but up for other times. (Wed and Sat are the official race days)
@Cruiserhiggs @Spamcheese I know you wanna go!
Have you tried calling the Cummins Service Center. I would talk to the shop foreman and see if any of the techs have experience with this. They may be able to do it on the side. +1 (623) 474-2600
I must not have made a very clear point. In my work environment (owner of automotive aftermarket and OEM manufacturing company) the above phrase is used everyday to explain how poorly almost everything mass produced is made.
The 80 series is a...
Someone building you a land cruiser for free?
All of this stuff is built for profit, let’s not pretend otherwise. Capitalism is a good thing. If you disagree, go build your neighbor a car out of wood like a good soviet.
with most folks running 17-18” wheels, and a 16” being the smallest that clears the oem brakes… there isn’t much extra space for a larger rotor and caliper… without increasing rotor diameter only potential gains come from heat mitigation...
I'm not a physicist, but you only have as much stopping "power" as your rubber gives you.
Larger brakes help with brake fade... In theory. Even for track cars you need a very high end BBK to make a difference over stock brakes with a good rotor.
the "need" argument is kind of ridiculous. You don't *need* a land cruiser lol. You need food, water, and shelter.... literally everything else is a want, and that's perfectly fine. I have had more little things go wrong in my old 100 and 80...
@JW21 sure you're not thinking of the 6.4? If not what's the major issues people have that causes them to swap to the 5.9 over rebuilding a 7.3?
I haven't seen a whole lot of 7.3 to 5.9 swaps unless they are going for big horsepower since the...
Just make sure you get the top rear shock mount washer sequence right. I have been dealing with the BP-squeak for a while. Think I finally fixed it. Not sure this applies to the 100, but the BP51 on my 200 had the wrong washers (two top hat...
the 7.3L is a seriously great motor. I have an 02 F350 with that motor and it's been great.
That said... these are completely different vehicles. The excursion isn't going to articulate, it's huge, and it's not going to be happy on any serious...
