Hit Long Beach this weekend with a new group. I actually think I spent longer making sure I got all of the salt off the truck than actually driving down the beach. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but we had a really cool Subaru with us. Winch, sliders, Method wheels, locker, good rubber and a great driver.

This seems like it would be hard on the body. I had one like this on an S-10 blazer years ago and even with a stock tire it caused some body damage over time.
It’s very well supported and plenty have it without no adverse effect on the body.

It is stupid strong😬

Oh…..this is not a chev either….

Took the truck out to stretch it’s legs now that gas is below $6/gal and fire season hasn’t even started too bad yet. Right next to slick rock trail if there’s any nor cal/ sacto guys on here that wheel

Finished my first brake job on the cruiser, just did pads ONE rear rotor and passenger front caliper...
Then learned that i need to do both rear rotors together AND the driver side front caliper at the same time. So ill be ordering those asap.
Threw on a nice coat of carnuba when the dust had settled.
Happy 4th

What is that thing your using to wash the undercarriage called?

deleted the Toyota Vehicle Security System (TVSS) from my 04/95 build. didn't seem to work and one less thing to worry about. i will probably re-install the harness if/when i get around to adding in a modern keyless/remote start system. but for now it's going in a box.

frustratingly, it didn't help fix the annoyance that my Auto Off headlight function doesn't work. So further troubleshooting required there while i have the lower dash torn apart.

Detail of the brackets for @Vulkyn
Awesome !! How practical is it ? I'm sure you pretty much have everything MOLLE based ?
Would I be able to find dimensions any where to fabricate this ??

There are a wide variety of MOLLE based pouches and bags that I can load onto the panel as well as quick fist straps. I went with the largest panel that Gray Man Tactical had in the more rigid aluminum. Link here. Mine relies on both the second and third row seatbelt bolt locations so if you have second row seats installed you'll have to adapt it to your situation.

Emblem removal and tried to blend it. You can still see it, but this is the shiniest part of the 80 now
