Fury got a little TLC today. Sparkalators were firing a little rich… Also, drained and will replace the diff fluid… the front diff drain plug had to have been tighten by Thor. Had to borrow my neighbor’s impact wrench, but got it done.
Not so glamorous but I know it feels good to knock these things out. Reminds me the reason why you always take off the fill plug first because Thor sometimes has a hand in tightening those too. :p

Decided on an overnight on some rare public land here in the midwest. It was near a river and the bugs were so thick I dared not cook outside so it was a chill inside with guac and chips for dinner. 😜

Hit Long Beach this weekend with a new group. I actually think I spent longer making sure I got all of the salt off the truck than actually driving down the beach. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but we had a really cool Subaru with us. Winch, sliders, Method wheels, locker, good rubber and a great driver.

This seems like it would be hard on the body. I had one like this on an S-10 blazer years ago and even with a stock tire it caused some body damage over time.
It’s very well supported and plenty have it without no adverse effect on the body.

It is stupid strong😬

Oh…..this is not a chev either….

Finished my first brake job on the cruiser, just did pads ONE rear rotor and passenger front caliper...
Then learned that i need to do both rear rotors together AND the driver side front caliper at the same time. So ill be ordering those asap.
Threw on a nice coat of carnuba when the dust had settled.
Happy 4th

deleted the Toyota Vehicle Security System (TVSS) from my 04/95 build. didn't seem to work and one less thing to worry about. i will probably re-install the harness if/when i get around to adding in a modern keyless/remote start system. but for now it's going in a box.

frustratingly, it didn't help fix the annoyance that my Auto Off headlight function doesn't work. So further troubleshooting required there while i have the lower dash torn apart.
