how bad are you rubbing? and what is the articulation like i have a 91 with 2 inch lift and i just ordered some ne wheels with 4.5 back spacing and 37s

Wheeling it definitely rubs, but it doesn’t on the street. I also gutted the flares and did some hammering on the rear. Also flipped around the bumpstop cone in the front so I added like 1.5” of bumpstop. Running 4.25 backspace wheels and 1.5” wheel spacers. I originally ran without spacers and it rubbed less than now.

why are you running the spacer then? i am also moving my front axle forward an inch.

Installed Ironman 2” lift, Ome stabilizer and rear brakes for now. Just gotta finish painting Og rims and get 315s mounted. Ride quality is great and about 2 inch difference in front and 3 in rear. Old springs were sagging pretty hardcore. Before

Wow, I think you won the bad bush contest!

Liking those tires? What’s your review of them (been in the mtns)?
I'm loving them. I've offroaded in the mountains, mud, rocks, and water and they grip very well. Haven't had them on snow though. Far quieter than most mud tires. Very smooth on the road. And I haven't noticed any wear on them yet but I've only put 6k on them. Supposedly good for 50k-60k.

Changed the Drag Link/ Tie Rod and all four tie rod ends. Purchase the Drag Link/ Tie Rod from Slee and Japanese 555 tie rod ends from @cruiseroutfit. Its cheaper to buy all new hardware and do it yourself, than take it too a shop and them using your old stuff.

@2fpower invited me to the Tornado Alley Cruiser's three day hangout next week, so put the ARB Awning and tent on the LC. Opened and closed the tent a few times to make sure it was all good and so I could remember how to pack it away.

Tomorrow (and the rest of the week) is suppose to be nice out, so I should spray the undercarriage with fluid film before they start adding more liquid salt on the streets.

I decided to pull the rear driveshaft this weekend and do the U joints as prevenitive maintenance and I also took advantage of the opportunity to try driving the part time rig in front wheel drive only. The vibration was still there but at least I got new U joints lol.
