First post with my new to me 96 , my previous was a 100. I love this 80 so much. I love the 100 too but well, you know...
.
Bought it up in Bellingham,WA from a one owner who drove it very lightly to hardly ever. 192k miles on it. The interior is immaculate, I mean....he got the seats reupholstered but all the other details are amazing.
Currently finishing up the HG. I have zero experience. Just typical oil change, tires, bulbs, etc.
I had no clue what I was getting myself into. And now two weeks later....im almost...”almost” done. It was maintained pretty well, and upon looking through all the parts and gears and what not...it seemed to me (again i wouldnt really know) but it seemed things werent very worn or at least that he really did drive it very lightly.
anyways, I dont think I’ll do a whole write up but ill share all the work pictures in another post. It was pretty fun until it wasn’t. Lol. Mostly the wiring harness....it is the bane of my existence. I spent two days altogether figuring out how to unclip and then putting them back. This was JUST for all the wiring harness. Smh. Well anyways heres some photos for now

Found an island on a lake where my hammock needed to hold two trees together for a while.

Sorry you can only see one tree (the other wants to remain anonymous) and that foot is mine. The pink kayak is not! Usually the lake is dangerous for kayakers as it can be a party lake so when the temps drop kayaking season begins. This particular lake as lots of islands. We kayak to them but honestly the majority of the time spent is not in the kayaks but on the islands.Where are the pictures of you on said island holding said trees together?
What size tires? I ask because I see that Falken laying there and I'm curious if you like them.Didn't have much time but worked on front swaybar bushings and new Tour Flex front coils this afternoon, have a bit more to do (*cough* driver's side lol) but so far so good.

Also broke some clips popping out my rear quarter panels again for the install of the Delta cargo barrier, so ordered more from clipsandfasteners.com and will pause on the barrier until they land. Got it all bolted together at least.
