Lived the true joy that is replacing ALL power steering lines. Good times, love that pump fitting that turns with the bolt. Luckily my Sequoia alternator post is smack dab in front of that bolt. Just need a new o-ring for that pump fitting and I can reassemble. Hopefully all the leaks will be gone.

Began chasing down engine leaks. Started with the valve cover gasket. Turned this dirty thing...

Into this slightly cleaner, dirty thing with a powder coated cover from ACC. Also changed out the OG spark plugs with OEM ones

Had a chance to test out the headlights as well. Cutoff

Lows

Highs

My youngest turns 18 today. Glad to see her grow to be such an awesome young woman, but sad it has gone by so fast!
I had to get a picture of her with her 80

Wait that is her 80?? Man you spoil them too much. ;-) Great looking truck and kiddo! Looks like you're raising them right.

Haha, yeah it's hers. She has that AND a 470 now she will be driving to college and we'll store the 80.
We bought the 80 with lockers, lift, sliders, arb bumper, arb rack (now a Bowfin of course!), snorkle, blown Head gasket- $1500. Add a long weekend paint job and voila!

The 470 still needs work but was laid on its side lightly and crunched a little and lost all its ahc fluid. Getting lifted, 33's, a Bowfin rack, and just picked up a used arb bumper- got this one for $1250

Finding bargains here and there.

@RFB I bought a spindle from @cruiseroutfit it was a Japanese made Joint Fuji and doesn't look or feel any different than a Toyota spindle. Very happy.
Oh I have no doubt I get lots of stuff from @cruiseroutfitters never doubted the quality.

Also managed to break some bolts - waiting for another shipment from @beno :) Glad this happened at home and not on the road trying to change a tire. I am pretty sure the the shop that last took off the tire overtorqued the bolts or stripped them :(. Maybe not but this is the 1st time I've had trouble with them and its the 1st time since I put tires on it 9 years ago that a shop touched the wheels.

did exact same thing yesterday pressing in new ones now.

Finally gave her a bath. Pressure washed the under carriage to get all the dirt and salt off from winter. Now I’ll need to get under the truck with the descaler and clean up some areas and treat them again. Also planning to pull the bumpers soon and drop off for blast and powder coat.

Hmm... anti-seize, caliper grease, pb blaster, toyota orange FIPG, and a storage of BlackStone lab kits.... must be an FZJ80 owner.
