Been waiting a few weeks for the couple who own this LX to give me word on if they will sell. Husband wants to get rid of it, wife doesn’t. Been sitting for a year but has 120k miles.. interior looks practically new! Son in law says I’m the only one to ask about it since it’s been parked.

Damn - looks like it's in great shape

For the most part it is. From what I’ve seen it needs a birf rebuild and has a bit of surface rust on the frame but overall very nice 80

I believe we met briefly in Vermont last week, that was a trip to remember. Chewing some of the same trails...

And we did take a stock LX470 through the Red marked trails, it was an amazing experience

I remember seeing your rigs! You are right, it was an amazing experience. My mind still drifts off to think about it. If you ever come north again, let me know. Fall is a great time to wheel here.

130 and 133 are oxygen sensor and 172 is too rich. I replaced O2 with denso 3-4 years ago so they should be good.

I pulled the battery for 15 minutes to reset the ECU last night and she seems to be running better but high RPM. Will see if she will run properly after idle comes back to normal. No vacuum leak or intake leak so might have to get new O2 sensors again.

After the ECU reset she is running like a champ now, even better MPG. No pending codes and a lot smoother. Guess I’ll reset ECU every month as PM!?!?!?

Was out working on Wednesday, nothing exciting, collecting data for a signing plan, not challenging wheeling. What was cool, got rained on pretty good and the desert is really nice when wet!

Some in the group had never seen the start of a flash flood. So, did the park in the empty wash, wait a bit, here comes the little wall of water, now we are fording, thing. If you have never seen it, pretty cool!

I miss the smell of creosote after a fresh rain...

So the lift on the Cammo Cruiser is work in progress to put it mildly. I've been chasing gremlins since the install. Much more to come once I actually get to that process, but since that truck is currently napping, I decided the LX needed to get back on point as the DD since it rains every day. I've been chasing a squeak that sounds like a motel by the hour rental bed from somewhere in the back axle. Finally decided to do a deep dive.

Parking brake on drivers side was mangled. I knew that, finally decided to repair. You can see where it's missing a piece. Top 2 are DS, bottom 2 PS.

Realized while I was in this process that the DS caliper was sticking and PS was leaking ... balls. DS pads up top, PS on bottom PS pads were soaking wet.

Installed new parking brake hardware. Not fun, but just a little swearing. Old DS components were beat.
