Thats pretty weird . . . but I dig it.

And they say mall crawling isn't hardcore...

Built the mount using the oem center console to trace the lines and bolted on the 20mm ammo can using rivnuts. Added cup and switches holders. Got inspired by this thread New Dingo Project-ammo can console

I was mall crawling (not in my 80) as usual to pickup an iPhone and saw this gent roll up. I felt so bad. Wanted to commiserate with him, but I was on the phone and he left after taking some photos himself. So sad! I know how he feels.

Went way down to Va. for the weekend meet up with several MUD folk and non muds as well, got some great pics and tested out the maggiolina further. For anyone searching for off grid wifi DO NOT BUY A SKYROAM SOLIS. Let me make the mistakes and You save the $$ and looks like front runner is going and a prisnu or bow fin is on deck. Haven’t drove the 80 much for a while and she felt a little rough so I decided to take her to work a couple do day to burn through the tank of old gas. Sadly on my way home today I got code P 130, 133 and 172.:bang:

Guess I have to give her a bit more attention.

130 and 133 are oxygen sensor and 172 is too rich. I replaced O2 with denso 3-4 years ago so they should be good.

I pulled the battery for 15 minutes to reset the ECU last night and she seems to be running better but high RPM. Will see if she will run properly after idle comes back to normal. No vacuum leak or intake leak so might have to get new O2 sensors again.

I went to the Vermont Overland Rally this past weekend. It was way more fun than I expected! With the Slinky suspension under my rig, even my wife (who is expecting in 2 months) could ride along in relative comfort.

Pardon the camera orientation on this one:

I believe we met briefly in Vermont last week, that was a trip to remember. Chewing some of the same trails...

And we did take a stock LX470 through the Red marked trails, it was an amazing experience

Before the weekend; just finished:

Front crank seal replaced.
Oil pump o-ring with new torx screws. (Had to drill the head off one screw, fun).
Extended front diff breather to free-flowing. Original was 93% blocked (cause of my diff soup).
Replaced a few alternator belt-tensioning bolts.
Wiped off a few pounds of Toyota undercoating and grime.
