Need to build the rack now

Finalizing battery hold down today on our LCP Turbo 80 parts runner. We will also be offering a upgrade to reduce stress and protect the fusible links commonly an issue.

The end results will look very close to below, a tested proven setup.;)

New battery hold down and relocation of the fusible links. Provides room up front to fit in my case the radiator overflow bottle.

I was just looking at the back of my truck and planning to hack the arms off of my bumper and move the spare inside. I really don't like that spare hanging off the rear.
a 37 in ntto is heavy really heavy so im replacing tire mount with ladder, and wont need jerry cans anymore.

I'm getting sick of working on the yard when I could be out exploring somewhere. Should have just gone with the natural landscape of bindweed and be done with it.

Mrs LS1 was out running errands. Spotted this 80. I’ve only seen one that color in person. And it was at a junk yard. They ain’t from round these parts...

Had a friend call and tell me a local family member just had some trees removed and the wood was up for grabs if I could get it this week. Cruiser is still on jack stands, so had to press the LX into trailer duty. Keep trying to keep it to mall cruiser status, just can't seem to get there yet. The looks I get towing this thing are just priceless.

Probably 1.5 - 2.0 cords of wood, so worth hooking up the trailer. Still had another full load after this of the largest diameter pieces. Now just waiting to get the splitter back from the Amish repair shop it's at so I can get this mess put away.

replaced auto zone(ish) feul pump with oem and correct filter, and flushed the tranny fluid using the rodney method,Tranny Flush a remote starter helps with this big time, I marked a five gal bucket in 1 quart increments and flushed 2 quarts at a time over and over went thru 4 gallons(ish) total. This forum has been gold as far as how to and how not to, sadly I leap before I look quite often which results in other members getting new or barely used parts cheap or free. so theres that .

That moment after three days of prep and masking as well as taking a day off to paint on the one day you have before the big trip and you open your box from monstaliner and find instead of sans panties green they send desert sand.

I guess I have to paint it sand now. No choice. This really sucks.

I hear that I totally ripped of entire assembly in MOAB standing the truck on its tailgate. so this will help

Do your trip without paint, you will have to reprep when you get back, but if you do it a color you don't want you will have to deal with that a lot longer than 3 days.

if it helps desert sand looks killer.

I replaced my starter, it only took about 50 minutes. When I started it I noticed something flapping around my fan, so I turned it off to check it out. I discovered why my AC quit working, the belt was shredded and wrapped around my fan. Some before and after are attached (out of order)
