@musthave I'll take a 60 or a 55![]()
I just found out today that my old 62 recently sold to a new owner and the last owner didn't think to PM/call me first![]()
Yeah happened to me as well and the new purchaser was here on mud. I reached out to him before the deal was done and was like hey, my buddy Jon and I built that truck before he passed and I would really like to have it back. He told me well too bad.
↑Truly Land Cruiser mecca. There are another 20+ that you can’t see in a back row. 40’s, 45’s, 55’s, more. Most have a little rust but none of them look too bad. I think they are all mostly recoverable.
Did he at least let you throw out an offer? Either way- yikes.
Nope, nothing at all.
There needs to be a list of people banned from our MUD family.
That does seem a little harsh. I guess it depends on how much squeezing every dollar out of each transaction means. I kinda like the everybody can win philosophy.He might be a nice enough guy, but that was a douche move, I wouldn't want him kicked off mud, but I was very surprised.
But well worth it, I cant locate one anywhere so hardtop for nowPut on a new seal for the poptop and finished wiring up some internals. Slow progress.

Hopefully one turns up eventually. If not there are always crazier options.But well worth it, I cant locate one anywhere so hardtop for now
got rid of the rear spoiler...no welding. just put the screws back in and touched up the paint around it...and installed my cobra 75 cb with yodateq mount.
This is always confusing to me. Do you guys like dirty rear windows? Why remove the spoiler?
did yu do filter yourself? I HAVE to do mine its like the only thing i have yet to replace and It needs doing.Just finished installing this..

Fingers crossed that will be an end to my random start issues. Whilst I was in there I also installed one of these...

There was no mention on the previous owners records that he had ever changed it but when I got it out I found one these..

I know the PO had Toyota OCD when it came to replacement parts so I reckon his mechanic Hoodwinked him on the filter. I spotted the same on the rear rotors as well only they came with a "receipt"....

yea Im in the middle of installing KC gravities 50 in light bar its heavy so I fabbed up some brackets thaqt will tie into front runner rack like stock and then lots of grease, wiring etc hitting the road ASAP fuel filter must go. thanks budYep. Its not that complicated. No more than 2. I read a lot about the inboard mount bolt being a pain in the arse but I found I could access it easily albeit with about 2 foot of extension bars. I don't know if having the starter out helped or not. It took me about about 45mins.
