@musthave I'll take a 60 or a 55 :hillbilly:

I just found out today that my old 62 recently sold to a new owner and the last owner didn't think to PM/call me first :(

Yeah happened to me as well and the new purchaser was here on mud. I reached out to him before the deal was done and was like hey, my buddy Jon and I built that truck before he passed and I would really like to have it back. He told me well too bad.

Installed. Paint correction can wait until it warms up. Good enough for now.

Popped in a new 90189-04014 for the virgin run. Nice to carve my own threads into something for once :)

Did he at least let you throw out an offer? Either way- yikes.

Truly Land Cruiser mecca. There are another 20+ that you can’t see in a back row. 40’s, 45’s, 55’s, more. Most have a little rust but none of them look too bad. I think they are all mostly recoverable.

Hopefully these can be saved. If getting money together is an issue, I could probably chip in for the right deal. Awesome find though. Probably not too many of stashes like that left these days.

He might be a nice enough guy, but that was a douche move, I wouldn't want him kicked off mud, but I was very surprised.

There needs to be a list of people banned from our MUD family.

That does seem a little harsh. I guess it depends on how much squeezing every dollar out of each transaction means. I kinda like the everybody can win philosophy.

Put on a new seal for the poptop and finished wiring up some internals. Slow progress.

And for all your suspension needs, hit up @reevesci and ask him about Tough Dog. Satisfied customer!

This is always confusing to me. Do you guys like dirty rear windows? Why remove the spoiler?
:lol: Mine never had one. I have one in the garage I intend to install properly one day.

Just finished installing this..

Fingers crossed that will be an end to my random start issues. Whilst I was in there I also installed one of these...

There was no mention on the previous owners records that he had ever changed it but when I got it out I found one these..

I know the PO had Toyota OCD when it came to replacement parts so I reckon his mechanic Hoodwinked him on the filter. I spotted the same on the rear rotors as well only they came with a "receipt"....

Yep. Its not that complicated. No more than 2 :banana:. I read a lot about the inboard mount bolt being a pain in the arse but I found I could access it easily albeit with about 2 foot of extension bars. I don't know if having the starter out helped or not. It took me about about 45mins.
