Just turned in 20MPG!! (18.986 but I am taking 20) from Colter Bay Camp in the Grand Tetons to Billings MT with 8 gallons to spare!! Sooooo stoked! Wasn't too stoked sleeping when it was 15 at night. Changed the oil before the trip and it still looks like new.

My wife just cancelled our Teton/Yellowstone plans this weekend due to nighttime temps. Thanks for confirming for her

That's good sleeping temp! When my son went on our trip last December we had multiple nights below zero!

Last weekend it was replace the bi-metal VSV after snapping the original in half during the head gasket job.

This weekend it's remove the factory roof rack, plug the holes, paint the roof and install the new Front Runner rack.

Well everything great product must come to an end. This past Saturday one of my Toshiba 65w HIR (no longer available) failed after almost 7 years of use. Sunday the other HIR failed. Without any hesitation I ordered the latest and greatest German made Vosla 9011 65w for Candlepower.com. Already installed looking for another 7 years of life. FWIW I run HIR 9011 65 watt for both High and Low beams and get excellent coverage and never a problem.

Just replaced my highs and lows with the same bulbs from candlepower after reading your thread, easy mod and great improvement

What are all these connectors for? Should they be connected? Back left of engine bay

back left as in passenger side? If so, I made a thread about that a while back. Consensus was that they were for lockers (which I don't have) or other accessories that my truck didn't come with.

Changed the copper brillo pad in my PVC catch can. Since installed I have captured a little over 12oz that normally would of gone in the intake. My goal is doing this when I PM'd the HG was to reduce the build up and I saw in the intake and keep from clogging the egr passage in the future. Has is or does it work:meh:, Im not for sure but Im happy that 12oz of oil did not make it into the intake.

Yep passenger side. I have lockers and they engage fine with those disconnected though? Not sure what other accessories they could be. I was thinking something for power antenna but I connected them and nothing (antenna hasn't worked for years haha)

That’s the spirit! Rub some dirt on it and try to have a good time.

Fingers crossed.
Hell yea! In the Corps they had you some Motrin, a pair of dry socks, and you’ll be ready to hump by morning! Get some!

Last weekend I installed the McMaster struts for the hood. They definitely have a lot more lifting capability than the strong arm ones I bought a couple years ago.

Today I realized my factory flare expired in November of 1993. I should probably replace that. It's only a few years expired.

I also noticed my factory jack looks brand new and the factory tool bag was probably never opened.

And those seat brackets are from a member on here...I should have painted them before installing them.
