Do you have part numbers for those struts? I have the McMaster mod on the rear and they are still lifting strong 3 years later even in the winter.

If I could ship it I would. In Japan it is required to have a flare and most cars have a mounting spot on the passenger kick panel. They sell replacement flares everywhere.

Finally got enough restrictions lifted to spin spanners. Revisited the turbo swap that was rudely interrupted 5 months ago. Machined up wastegate spacer and extended actuator. Test fitting was successful. Finish everything off tomorrow and kick her in the guts for the first time in what seems like forever, then off to get the valve clearances sorted 
Went and checked out a few yellow post campsites in the local mountains! No one up here really. Wish the roads were a little rougher. Didn't need 4x4.
Replaced PCV hoses, valve, and grommet. New rubber is so much nicer to look at.
I've read several times about the grommet falling in but all I did was take a thin razor and put a cut into the inside of the grommet and wiggled it out no problem.

Also ran an air line through the frame and mounted an air fitting on the front ARB bumper.

we do not speak of the triple damper...
replaced front brake pads will do the whole thing later one.
put in cv120 and made a BIG difference in starting and a little better pep when applying right foot to that thing on the floor that is supposed to make it go faster,no more gas tank passing gas when i take off the filler cap.
got new belts in today.
cleaned a little more on the underneath,doesn't look like i will need the oil pump gasket done yet but definitely a valve cover gasket soon.
my power steering reservoir had a small crack in it sealed it up and cleaned up in that general area will see if that was the main culprit.
the built in toyota LC rust preventative is working great no rust anywhere........underneath.

Finished my winch install. Added the tow points,wired up and ready to go now.. Then pulled the smoker out of the barn and watched the kids be kids while I waited for the best chicken sandwiches in town

Yep. Feeling much better. That may be the backpack filled with Oxycodone talking but not much pain. A little numbness in my right foot but I can live with that for the next couple of weeks.
Next stop: Iceland!
Took the family to a localish ghost town and then hit the hot springs
I'm unpacking after a three week, 4,000 mile journey that took us from Vacaville, CA to Yellowstone, the Teton's, Moab for a week, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, 100 miles off road in the Mojave desert, across Death Valley, and a tour north through cali up 395.
It was a treat to eat breakfast in plane view of Mt. Whitney.
The 1FZ-fe, at 279k, performed very well if not a bit under powered on steep accents at high elevation. It's smooth rev up the tach is a great attribute and leave's worry behind. In 4040 miles I had to add zero oil and many of those miles were strenuous.
I'd like to send a thank you to Twin Falls, ID Toyota for fitting me into their busy Saturday schedule to address a leaking oil filter. And a huge shout out to Moab 4x4 Outpost in Moab for replacing a broken rear axle shaft with skill and timeliness.
This was our biggest trip in the 1993 White Rhino. It sits on a 4" and 37's. I had my reservations about how a road trip of this length would go in a rig set up with Rubicon in mind but, I'm happy to say that I'm looking forward to my next multi-week adventure because the White Rhino showed its grit and willingness even at 24 years old.
