Very nice I hope you score. Going for 2 weeks I hope you have a wall tent with a stove.
That's the plan, I am really hoping we have good weather. Bad weather could make for a nasty, muddy, cold, and hard 2 weeks. I will be taking chains for sure but I really hope I don't need them.

With winter right around the corner I needed to address the bed heating of my CampTeq. The factory cigarette lighters plugs would come loose and I would lose my heat and wake up cold.:bang: I upgraded all my power connections to SAE and Anderson power connections hopefully keeping warm all nite into the morning.

What blanket/heater do you use? Can you run it all night without major battery concerns?

Brand is Crow had now for a few years uses ~45w, heats to about 125° on high. With 170AH of battery available it can easily run all nite along with my fridge.

What's the best way to reattach the sombrero emblem on rear upper hatch? So glad I jiggled it because it was pretty loose, that's something I rather not lose in the middle of the road somewhere.

Was able to change out bad u-joints. no more vibrations. my LC runs amazing now. finding myself itching to get out on a short trip.

We're doing Tuttle Creek north of Manhattan that last weekend of October. I'm considering going,, but there are others already confirmed.

Tornado Alley Cruisers in clubhouses above.

My wife just cancelled our Teton/Yellowstone plans this weekend due to nighttime temps. Thanks for confirming for her

It all depends how you are doing it...I made a sleep platform in the car and a nice warm sleeping bag so I was ok but just the part about ONLY being warm when you're in the bag sucks a bit after awhile. I've been on this trip for a week now. The worst part about Yellowstone is that there are hardly any camp sites open...but even with that there are still a lot of tourists. Mostly Chinese tour groups. I can only imagine that place being packed as hell in the summer.

Finally got a minute to finish one side of the truck in the make it white project. My vinyl wrapping skills are not so perfect yet but it looks at least as good as the original paint, and in my fav color. New sliders on one side and roof rack sort of on. A ways to go but encouraging.

Are you going to keep the spoiler on once you get to the rear hatch?

I used to live in Bozeman and frequent the boiling river and Jellystone. Packed park = definite no go. Asian tour buses EVERYWHERE.

Not sure if it will go back on or not. Coming off to wrap.

I think it will likely go back on only because I have considered other uses there, like lights, rear camera.

Found more rusted nuts. Never steam clean an engine. It takes the rust protection off everything.

Not the weekend yet, but I just had a GREAT day at work.

Left at 4AM, drove 450 miles round trip from NJ to the southernmost tip of Assateague Island in VA to do a project site visit for a client, had fresh crab and cold beer for lunch, and was back in NJ by 5PM.

Surf was up with effects from Hurricane Maria (much of the island had been washed over this past week) and the weather was beautiful. The LX ran like a top.

Sometimes I’m amazed I get paid to do this ;) .
