Well, my driver seat stopped working right after I buttoned up the AC last Monday. It was too far forward to drive comfortably so I decided to wait till the weekend to fix it.

If I'd spent 30 seconds I would have notice the white cap had fallen out and fixed it.

I am on the hunt for manual OEM seats.

Went wheeling with my son.

Oh I thought I had the big brother to the Shiba Inu with a Jindo. How is the Shikoku? Is the temperament like the Shiba? My old Jindo is 16-17 years old and he has been awesome and I was thinking about another one but a dog a little smaller would be awesome too!

Japanese Shikoku. Big sister to the Shiba Inu.

We loaded the 80 and headed out on a three week road trip. We are now at a resort on Henry's lake Idaho. The 80 ran the 880 mile trip well but I do have a small issue.

430 miles in I discovered my oil filter is leaking. Did a complete oil and filter change at Wills Toyota in Twin Falls, ID but the filter is still leaking. So I stopped at Toyota in Idaho Falls. The guys there thought it was residual oil. I bought another filter and went a couple hundred miles more to this resort just outside Yellowstone and confirmed, the filter is still leaking. It's not profuse or dripping but but is very obvious and concerns me (pisses me off).

Has anyone ever had this issue. I never did before. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Yes. Check to make sure the rubber seal from the old filter isn't stuck on the motor. Two rubber seals with one filter equals "leaking filter".

I'm usually thourogh when doing my oil changes and would have hoped that the tech who changed it again in Twin Falls would have caught a seal stuck to the motor. The techs in Idaho Falls said that there was not double seal because of how closely the filter was seated to the block. However, I will look into this as soon as possible. Tomorrow is Sunday and I will spend 4 days at Yellowstone so I may have to put up with this until Thursday.

Finally got the courage up to replace my shocks and only had to drill and tap the lower shock mount for the rear. Rides way better! Had to do some more drilling....drilled out the front caliper pins because they were stuck in there. Lot's of time under the rig today but luckily I have a lift.
