Assuming you are using the OME stock height springs, you can't measure from the ground up. Try the bottom of the rim or center of the hub.
When going all the way down to the ground, you will have a lot of variables and errors. Tire size and the PSI will greatly affect the measurements.
True, if you want to compare my vehicle to another. I put on the same tires as before and was only interested in seeing how much I came up. Yes, OME 2862.

Received two pallets of 6 Inch Lift from Superior Engineering (full kit with part time kit) Stay tune for the install. Going from 2.5" TJM to 6"

It's an inherent problem with all the ZF derived transmissions.
I read somewhere the solenoids go bad, mostly due to too much heat.

It can be reset, but the problem will quickly come back.

Mine is a ZF and it does it when the engine is still cold, but under heavy acceleration it's not there.
Even when the engine is warm up it can do it under very light acceleration. The slippage is only there when cold (sudden RPM surge).

So it turns out this isn't a solenoid issue on the 6L80. It is a problem with the seals on the clutch support tube allowing communication between the 1/2/3/4 and 3/5/R clutch piston hydraulic circuits. Also probably why my 3/5/R frictions and steels burned.. it allows engagement of an unintended clutch slightly (slipping) during normal operation of the other clutch. A good example would be any time you are sitting at a light and the transmission has 1st engaged.. it is also trying to engage the 3/5/R clutch.. when not moving this doesn't matter but as you pull away through 1st and 2nd it is slightly engaging and slipping the 3/5/R

Supposedly the people that have had the 2-3 flare problem with the 6L80 experience zero flare after the updated clutch support.

Amazon sent me the wrong clutch basket so I'm waiting for the correct one to get the trans put back together and get it bolted in. This is taking forever.

We needed a megadose of fxxxitol ...

Tried getting to Wheeler Lake just north of Alma this weekend with the TLCA Club from Fort Collins. Never made it to the lake due to snow and then ran to Mosquito Pass for fun even though we'd know it would be closed at the top by snow. Wheeler Lake has got to be one of my favorites. Im in the green 80 and @trout bum is in the white

Thanks! I am thinking about designing s few shirts similar

If you do something similar, I think it would be cool to have something on the back too.
