Neat! I could probably use those. My questions are:
1) On USA spec 80's, our panhard axle mount and pumpkin on the PS make it difficult to install the top full length bolt. That is why Slee's and others have to small stubby bolts. Do these caster plates provide those?
2) With extra axle rotation, is there more probability for the tie rod to contact the control arms? With my Slee plates they are about 0.25" as is.
Ignore the in progress headliner reinstall. Just wanted to get a pic while I had good daylight of the completed cage.
Power washed the carpets today as well, interior will be back together tomorrow and she will be back on the road after almost 8 weeks of bending, notching, and welding tube.

Was sationed there and actually miss it. Lots of BLM and Joshua Tree land to explore, and once youre acclimated it can be quite fun. A steady intake of fluids makes a big difference and I still have the habit of stepping into any shade when not moving.
Amazing work![]()
LOL. We hit 120 and everyone's disappointed we didn't break the 122 record.![]()
Not an 80 but I couldn't resist picking up a shirt with a Land Cruiser that was going to have a canoe on top.
I'll have to post the pic's on the 60 Series forum as well.
Why can't my local Land Cruiser club come up with simple, cool shirts like this?

@zona , where did you find that shirt?
Rear spring factory height refresh. The OME 2862 springs weigh 16.5 pounds to the stock 8 pounds.

I found the Land Cruiser shirt at REI in Chandler, AZ. I imagine it's online too.
