Neat! I could probably use those. My questions are:

1) On USA spec 80's, our panhard axle mount and pumpkin on the PS make it difficult to install the top full length bolt. That is why Slee's and others have to small stubby bolts. Do these caster plates provide those?
2) With extra axle rotation, is there more probability for the tie rod to contact the control arms? With my Slee plates they are about 0.25" as is.

1) The short M18 bolts should be this week and then I will post them on the website for sale. Otherwise, RHD is available for purchase now.
2) There is a possibility the rod might hit and grinding of the arm may be required.

Ignore the in progress headliner reinstall. Just wanted to get a pic while I had good daylight of the completed cage.

Power washed the carpets today as well, interior will be back together tomorrow and she will be back on the road after almost 8 weeks of bending, notching, and welding tube.

Amazing work

Was sationed there and actually miss it. Lots of BLM and Joshua Tree land to explore, and once youre acclimated it can be quite fun. A steady intake of fluids makes a big difference and I still have the habit of stepping into any shade when not moving.

It's funny....but for 21 years I always listed 29 Palms as my top 1 or 2 on my PCS "dream sheets". Therefore, I spent 21 years on the East Coast! So it is true... if you don't want to get stationed someplace, tell the Marine Corps you WANT to go there! Lol

LOL. We hit 120 and everyone's disappointed we didn't break the 122 record.

Not sure how you guys are able to survive there, I just got back from Scottsdale/Paradise Valley area a couple hours ago but it hit 120' when I was there.

Its our version of winter. Stay in the A/C. :P

Yeah that makes sense.

And I thought california knew a thing or two about heat waves...yeah right!! Never will I complain about our 90' heat waves.

Saved my friends wedding.
The road to where they were taking wedding pictures was a bit muddy for the Jeep they were in.
Good thing I was ready to go changed out of the suit and jumped in the 80, they weren't even late for the reception.

Not an 80 but I couldn't resist picking up a shirt with a Land Cruiser that was going to have a canoe on top.

I'll have to post the pic's on the 60 Series forum as well.

Why can't my local Land Cruiser club come up with simple, cool shirts like this?

Cut out of work early. Hit up our new top secret fishing hole. Had to try out the new (old, 2005) JDM Shimano Metanium XL reel. The fishing hole is a solid mile from the closest legal access. So we had been carrying the canoe, which sucked!!

So we built a dolly for the canoe based on a DIY hack we found online. It worked like a champ!

Didn't catch the biggest fish but the 3-4 pounders were hammering! We must've caught 50 fish in 3 hrs.

Did a little more fishing. My son caught a surprise Pike. Wasn't huge but when you've been catching 3-4 pound largemouth it shocked us.

The 93 took us back in here. Had to fjord a 2' deep "creek". This is an old abandon quarry that gets flooded once or twice a year by the adjacent river. Nobody knows there are fish back in here. We just took a chance a few years ago and hit the jackpot. It's a PITA to get to but worth it once in a while.

I found the Land Cruiser shirt at REI in Chandler, AZ. I imagine it's online too.
