Not the weekend officially (but I was snowboarding). I finally did the "7-PIN-7" mod today. The PO had already added the dash switch.
Half hour maybe. I also switched the position of the gas cover and hood release levers while I was in there. Seems more intuitive to me now. Of course, now I'll spend the next year relearning myself of that little change I made.

Sorry for your loss.Unfortunately my father passed on Thursday and I was unable to attend. I heard there were a few good sessions this year. Glad to know there are some more O'Reilly Team Members out there with good taste in vehicles.![]()

Looks cool, but primer won't last. Paint it.View attachment 1402270 Got the bumper primed in red oxide. I kinda like it like this. I was going to paint it satin black. What do you all think?
M715s are awesome! I learned to drive off road in one when I was a kid. You can't beat a ragtop fold-down windshield pickup. Thanks for the pic.
On my 80, I just washed and waxed away the salt from the last storm. It still cleans up nice.

Well as long as she comes home after you and leaves before you, you'll be fine. LolAt first I thought this was one of those valineday day stunts!
No this is how she normally crowds my 80.

Cleaning the garage after a few weeks of putting my truck back together. Found these 2 bits in the corner. Nothing appears to not be working. I dont remember removing them.
Can anyone advise what they are ?

Those go in the rear doors and drape over the rod from the door lock to the door mechanism, making the locks harder to slimjim.
If you pull the door card and plastic liner you'll see a large hole that said rod threads through.. and a small plastic grommet below that where a course-thread screw attaches the brackets in your pic to the door frame.
Realistically? not imporant. Any thief would assume they are actually installed.. IF they wanted to get into the door of a 20yr old SUV vs breaking a window anyway.
