Well, the CEL is back. 71-egr. Apparently this code is only on California spec rigs. I'm in Idaho... oh well. Any suggestions what to start with?

Did you attempt to bypass? If not, start here - 93 Cal Spec and 94 owners can jump the temp sensor and block the vac lines to disable the system without needing to rip it out: Disable the EGR system the (mostly) Toyota way

I have been doing some temporary body work to get my Cruiser through the winter with out letting water get into the passenger compartment. My son and I plasti dipped the lower belt line and wheel arches after plugging the fender flair holes with aluminum tape. We then used black pinstripe tape to help define the transition between the colors. It came out alright, not great but acceptable.

Went kayaking with my son near Uwharrie NF, some spelunking kind of thing too.

It's been a while since I posted, started building my own home a year ago today! Got my final inspections Friday! Went on a very needed wheeling trip yesterday! Manashtash area Central Washington. Hoping to have more time to work on my Cruisers in my new shop. Glad to be back  all!

Just ordered a portable this morning. @Dragos80 recommended the Baefong. I take my technician test the 17th.
I'm sure I have the same radio. It was cheap but works, at least at close range anyway. They are low power.
I studied for the test a year ago on an app I down loaded.

Patched two antenna holes and plugged roof rack holes with JB steel stick in prep for Monstaliner in 045 white.
