It is the Falls Dam Reservoir, the northern side dam, west side of the river, the caverns are left over from the construction from way back when it was built. Small no trespassing sign.... some of the guys from Wilmington, like Readheadedstepchild head up this way for wheeling, not much your way. Coming to the clubs Christmas event at Uwharrie?
Seems like there is so much great wheeling in NC.

Breaking it in...
Put in my HIR bulbs, now I want to try 9011 because while the 9012s are bright, they only look like normal headlights. (Note: I didn't drive yet with the bulbs just looked at the car parked in front of me.) Also noticed my odometer stopped working, can't wait to pull apart the dash to get at the odo, and probably do the led light replacement and fix the D light.

When I lived in Fort Collins years ago, Estes Park was the only place I could go to be and feel relaxed. Wyoming BLM does that for me now.

It's been a while since I posted, started building my own home a year ago today! Got my final inspections Friday! Went on a very needed wheeling trip yesterday! Manashtash area Central Washington. Hoping to have more time to work on my Cruisers in my new shop. Glad to be backall!

Couldn't get very much done because my wife had other ideas of how to use my time

Painted chrome, then added fresh heavies and second hand Ls to ol' grizz:
Threw in an Optima yellow top, did some testing on various issues, got bored and took her out to the lake. I have to admit I'm impressed with the stock suspension set up especially with the sway bars still in. My transition to the 80 was from a built Cherokee locked front and rear on 37s. Stock Cherokee has nothing on a stock Cruiser besides departure angle.
Drove through Valley of the Gods while I was up running HITR and Rincon

Final mechanical preparations for TnS.
Two days at Valley Hybrids getting the H151F and Power Steering sealed.
Changed the trans fluid, oil, filter, lubed and checked front to rear, checked for any loose items. Re-installed Yakima rails on the newly Line-X'd roof. Should be GTG for the beach in five days.
