Windscreen crack seemed to appear out of nowhere 10 days ago or so. Maybe it started "behind" the inspection sticker.

Found a replacement at Richmond dealership. About $300 with taxes.

Wow, great price. I just had the local Toyota dealer quote me a 56111-60220 (not sure what the difference is between that and your 60230), but they said $595 plus tax and a 20% restock fee if I don't take it for some reason.

How was the drive with the convertible?
Pretty nice. told my buddy when I got to his shop how pleasant the drive was with the 'rag top'. If the install didn't work out, I could keep it open.

Now to wait for the adhesive to cure...5 days.

It was pretty wild I found it on Instagram in Australia from a private party. Its 02/98 and it turned 25 while it was in customs! I was sweating bullets the whole time.
Post some pics of it!

Original 1988 part # is 56111-90K08. Partsouq listed the 60230 as a substitute.
Low price probably because it was sitting there in Richmond already, though no one there could say why.

Isn't the glass different between fixed and folding windshield models?

Curious what adhesive you went with?

5 days seems like looong cure time.
sikaflex 221

3mm/24 hours based on temp. and humidity according to the data sheet. As I'm in an arid climate, I'm probably good after 2 or 3 days. I put about a half-inch bead on it, so 12 mm/3mm = 4 days.

Installed a set of rear troopy seats in a 73 that came out of the factory without the provisions to mount a rear bench . These fit in nicely with a small modification to one of the supporting legs . If snyone is looking I have more of these in grey and brown.

Btw this one will be for sale soon

Man, that is an awesome setup!

Was able to install a head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay with only a moderate amount of bleeding in our 70 series Prado. Hand slipped and got cut on something in the dash. Didn’t have to modify the dash at all and was able to use the stock brackets.

This is what I bought if anyone wants to replicate the setup.
