Fantastic! Makes me wish my 80 was white. Guy here in town a long time ago had a white 86 shortbed with Iron Man striping and logos kind of like your design. It was a sharp looking truck. Go for it!

There's an 80 with a very similar paint job out there, it sold on ebay last year, I think. It was owned by the owner of NWOR or sumptin' like that.

I've got a 30" graphtec cutter sitting here waiting to cut it all out for you. All the materials are available at "Regional Supply" on 33rd south. I think it would be cooool. I've thought about wrapping my green 93 for a while now.

I got swamped at work today and didn't get a chance to get pricing on some oracal 851 from Regional Supply. I'll hit them up on monday. Any idea on the size of the TOYOTA. They generally have a 5 yard minimum per color, but I can pull something.

on a side note, I'm going to go look at a white 96 with a front ARB bumper and ARB roof rack on saturday. 11,500 is a little high for a nolocked 140k mile rig, but I am sick of shopping for a new 80. Cross your fingers.

I don't jump into the 80 section often.....but your best product is a wrap vinyl with conform/comply technology. 3M, mactac...even avery make a nice product. If you have never installed vinyl...a high performance Oracal )851) will be a bear for you put down with no bubbles or tape.

A wrap vinyl you can put down with no transfer tape and pull it up many times and get all of the air bubbles out.

Any sign shop that have a solvent or eco solvent printer can hook you up. If you can'y fin one....let me know...I have a sign shop in my house.

Ok so it's not actually done yet but I'd love to do this to my truck with some vinyl overlays. Gotta warm the wife up to the idea but I think it looks good on the white.

Only two! haha Two different trucks. Had my white '93 from 2000 thru 2014 and my current '95 Moonglow truck from 2014 to present.

this is a wild thread resurrection! While I never did complete this look on my white 80, I did get the chance to pull it off on the Canguro Racing 200 Series. I designed the wrap for the race truck for this years Baja 1000 50th Anniversary. Seemed like a fitting livery to do an Ivan inspired design. He liked it enough that he added his signature to it!
