Hey everyone, I've always been a lurker here during my ownership of my 2005 4x4 Sequoia. Now, with a recent purchase of a 1996 LX450 with 256k I felt like it was finally time to register! There's already so much information here and I cannot wait to get up to speed. I have a list of maintained items and enhancements to the current setup already planned. I enjoy the OEM+ look of these and cannot wait to get it there.

The current setup:
37" KMGs
4" OME Lift
Adjustable Pan Hard Bar
Arm, sway bar, and other accommodating drop brackets

Maintenance list (To/Do):
Drive Belt Replacement
Radiator leak
Rear brake line leak
Oil Pump cover leak
Rear main seal
Power steering leak
Diff/Tcase/Trans fluids
Heater Valve

Enhancements & Small Fixes (Wishlist):
Interior and Exterior detailing
Remove remaining OEM Cell Phone components (phone no longer in, but still beeps every 5min)
Remove previous owner's wiring for fog lights
Carplay Unit
Antenna
Cupholders
Fix Center Console so it securely shuts
Front Seat Upholstery
Floor Mats
Lower to 2.5" lift and 35s

I forgot to mention that I drove it 350 miles home from the purchase location. It was was a good opportunity to learn all the quirks. Drove very smooth with the current setup.

Welcome and congratulations. One though: if I had a leaky brake line, I'd get on that before I drove it anywhere.

One more thought: before you invest in a new rear main seal, make sure your leak isn't the upper pan seal.

Definitely! I'm searching for information for this area where I'm seeing brake fluid. Anyone know the name/part? I'll take on some more research from there. Thanks!

I would also recommend you buy:

You need (2) nuts. These are for the plate above. They are the same as the ones in the kit, but there aren't enough of them in the kit to mount the valve. Your plate and nuts will be rusted beyond use.

If you haven't already, you should download the Toyota service manual (FSM) and electrical wiring diagram (EWD) for your truck. They're both in the Resources forum, Lexus section for free. Make sure you get the ones for your year model.
