Ran down to Big 10 this am and had my KM2s Road Force balanced.

The tech that did it had a big ole beard. Tough looking guy.

Had to get the manager to drive the Pig in and out of the shop because he could not drive a stick.

How embarrassing

Ran out of time to get the tent to the top of the Pig and really needed to pack some dry firewood so I am taking the M416 to the Soirée

My first long trip in this pile. Wish me luck. I’ve got a solid pit crew to caravan with.

I’ll begin with the positive.

I made it 800 miles to and from the Swine Soirée
Monumental considering the farthest it’s been driven in 12+ years is 100 miles

After putting on the new carb I ditched the canister fuel filter because I dissected the old one and it was mostly clean. I thought my tank was good to go.

I had a clogged filter before I got out of my driveway. I went and grabbed the canister, reinstalled and hauled ass.

I made it about 6 hours and was trying to push as close to the camp as possible to fill up and I clogged up on the highway.

Long story short. As long as I keep the tank in the top 1/2 I have no problems.

Bottom 1/2 I start starving for fuel and or clogging filters.

Time to drop the tank and have it cut open and cleaned or get a Cruiser Brothers replacement unit.

Also the Warthog got a new life

Call us, we love pigs and we’re having a sale! :)

55 gallons?!? Fitting, but I bet you're gonna need at least one of those pulled leaves to keep that ass end up.

A lot of clean gas.

What’s the sending unit situation on it?

Swap over from the old tank. It’ll have instructions for extending the arm.

60 mph is good for these rigs when loaded down and pulling a trailer. Carb or fuel injected. Staying with the 2F?

My 40 (which is the exact setup but lighter) had the same load on a similar trip pulling the same trailer last month and it did WAY better. I literally drove it 80 mph once just because.

I take my 60 with a bigger load as well. 70-80 easy.

I’m assuming this 2F is just tired. I think a refresh is in order. It might not get FI initially but the tank will be ready when it goes in for a conversion.

I am not looking for a Scrapdaddy rig but I am looking for a Voodoocruiser rig. He’s rocking a 2F and 35’s (4.56 gears and H55) and he rocks that thing all over.
