Oh yeah , and being your in TN , you gotta get rid of that Razorbacks thing on the gate - lol

Good find !! Is it the Holy Grail version with no sun roof? It should have came with cloth seats as well but the pictures look like some crazy camo seat covers.

No, it's got a sunroof. I guess I can see the pros and cons of having one, but overall I like it. It doesn't leak and it's great in the spring and fall. (My 4Runner had one)

I thought they were seat covers, but the seats are actually reupholstered in camo. I got some quotes for reupholstering them with OEM cloth or leather and it's labor prohibitive. The materials aren't too bad, but the labor is stupid expensive. The whole interior smells like wet dog, so if I can get the smell out I think I'm just going to live with the camo. I can think of WAY more fun stuff to do with $2k... ;)

Also I would replace that radiator cap with an OEM version for your next mod.

I didn't realize that wasn't an OEM cap. I'll see if I can find one and order it, so it's waiting for me when I get home :)

Nice purchase!
What's the chamber hanging off the side of the air cleaner and that device with the S hose mounted above the compressor? I have had FJ80's for 20 + years and have never seen that before!

Good luck with the project.

Our white '94's were 'born' in the same month. Purchased mine in August, 1994 with 3 miles on it, or something close to that!

Your center console w/o the leather pad tells me yours was likely a cloth seat version. Even '94's with leather seats that were port/dealer additions didn't have the leather pad on the center console.

Welcome to the addiction! :flipoff2:

I recognized the Germantown Autozone!! Haha! I'm out in Eads.. great to see another Shelby county-er on mud. Would love to meet up and talk cruisers sometime! Looks great!

That is part of the PAIR system on all 93 to 94 models. The chamber is actually a silencer.

Phil,
Thank you! That explains why I have not seem that my 92 and 97 don't have those. Learn something new from MUD everyday!

Thanks got the well wishes!

I just looked at a bunch of engine pics and you're right, I can't find another vehicle that has that part. I have literally no idea what it is or what it does. Maybe I'll start a thread with a picture and ask the community..

Is there anyone around here who is the go-to for oddities?

Yeah Buddy! I'll get in touch next time I'm in town. I travel for a living so I'm gone a lot, but I'd love to grab a Ghost River at Huey's ;)

Took Big Beast out to Lake Wapanocca to enjoy some quality time with the mosquitoes.

Well everyone, I've got an update. I sourced a full float rear end from another mudder and had it shipped to Bobby at Cruiser Co for installation. While it's there, he's going to fix a few pesky issues and install an ARB bumper and a snorkel.
I'm pretty much calling this Phase 2.

Phase 2.5 will be some fog/running lights, a CB, and a radio (since my cruiser is missing the head unit all together)

My plans for Phase 3 are a Harrop in the back (now that I've got a FF rear end) and a TrueTrac in the front, plus whatever else needs replacing or overhauling in the front and rear ends.

Stay tuned for updates and pictures. As always, your thoughts and advice are welcome! :)

Well, Bobby's had my truck for just under three months, which is fine because I've been working mostly out of town and haven't needed it. He's fixed a bunch of minor issues and dome some PM, plus he's put some miles on the new FF rear end. The ARB non-winch bumper and Safari Snorkel went on today. Hopefully I'll have a picture to share tomorrow.

In other news, I pulled the trigger on one of those inexpensive imported rear bumpers. It's being shipped to Bobby for installation and I'll do a full write up when I pick up my truck at the end of the month.

Looking forward to the write up on the bumper, looks pretty good.
Also, I am always wondering why people blur pictures of their license plate. People can see the plate all day while the vehicle is on the road or parked someplace, but a picture on the internet is dangerous?

Haha! You're right. I guess I just do it out of habit.
