Although far from finished, I’m heading to North Carolina tomorrow, with the 55. Although I’m pretty confident it could be driven it up, it’ll be going on the trailer. (Pulled pork) It has only been driven to the muffler shop thus far. I don’t want to risk having a lousy long weekend with any mechanical issues that might occur.

This massive project wouldn’t be possible without help from a great group of guys:

Al @lowtideride
Bernie @bcmotor
Frank
Gunnar
Pete
Roy
Bob @bobm

I’m very “Greatful” how it is turning out and am looking forward to finally getting some seat time.

have you got any details on this radiator and what it took to stick it in? Thanks!

It was in there when I got it. I believe it just a standard alum radiator you’d get at Summit racing.

Love the license plate frame! Might have to get me one of those....

Since my Pig was from Santa Fe, I went with this frame. She was originally from Sauder Toyota, which became Beaver Toyota:

Pig is running/ driving great! The alignment guy said the front and rear axles are lined up straighter than some brand new trucks he’d seen. I’ve been daily diving it, but still have quite a list to knock out before PP18:

Bumpers
Install 8274
Swap back to stock Front springs
Install Rear window channel
Install Horns
Finish Floor welds
Connect Ac
Finalize Dash
Replace Speed sensor
Connect Turn signals / hazzards
Repair Wipers
Install Heat shields
Replace rear axle seals
Redo Battery tie down
Repair Ps line weep
Replace Alternator + add skid
Change Diff Fluid
Drain Trans fluid
Install Radio/ speakers
Figure out a temporary Headliner
Install Sound deadener
Replace shocks
Connect Cruise control
Mount spare
Add clips to wheels for Oem caps
Connect power to front seats
Install seat covers

Im sure I’ve left something off the list.
How many days do we have left before PP18?

:)

Stretched a 60 cargo window gasket around the 55 rear cargo window. A lil dum dum in the corners and it’s good to go. Eventually I’ll replace all the gaskets with the Slo Cruiser kit when it gets painted, but this will do for now.

That looks good. Right now Slo Cruiser can't get the rear cargo gaskets. I like the rear 60 ones do they hold and seal? Also I ordered the rear chevy solid back glass to do mine when I get ready. You have to make two cuts and glue it but it works they say.
