As best I can tell the crank pulley for the old supercharger kit is 7.6875". That's just from a tape measure though.

I'm having mine done at Jon Bond Performance. He said he can fix pretty much anything except a scored housing. If the housing is too badly damaged the unit is toast. On the bright side, it sounds like if you keep on top of the bearings they'll last pretty much forever.

First pic is the 3rd Gen (M90). Second is the 4th Gen (MP90). Notice the new corner on the plenum casting. Sorry, just adding pics to save other people the time in the future.

Pics of an M90 from a Ford Thunderbird. I don't see any differences except the snout. If someone needs a replacement SC for the early kit, it might be possible to swap your original snout on to one of these.

The adapter mounting points on that look to be correct for the early adapter.

Well, if someone gets desperate it looks like there's readily available rebuilt units for $600-$800.

It's in the mail now. They haven't looked at it yet, though I expect around $600 or so. Maybe a bit more since the rotors have some wear. The wear worries me that the case might be worn too. That's why I'm weighing my options. I'll let you know when I find out.

When I sent my unit to Magnusson in Ventura they charged me something like $85 for the inspection but said they could not rebuild it because its not supported any longer due to lack of expendables.

Luckily for me it was within spec since it had so few miles on it. ~20k if memory serves. He did mention that there are rebuilders that will do a coating on the rotors to help get the gap more into spec.

I'm using Jon Bond Performance. Nice guy, I've been exchanging emails with him for awhile leading up to the rebuild. He does do the coating if necessary. He uses aftermarket parts. I saw your post where Magnusson doesn't recommend aftermarket parts but doesn't sell new ones anymore. How convenient for them.

Kinda like the auto makers........:frown:

Why can't they make every part readily available until the world ends? Is that too much to ask?

That was a huge deciding factor in why I ended up going turbo. Unlike some of you that have had your 80 for years and years, I just got mine and wanted to have years to enjoy it, and with the supercharger no longer being supported and at the time I was looking it was between end of production and the second release, I didn't want to get down to something that I couldn't find parts for and we all know the 80 market isn't huge and the TRD 80 supercharger market is even smaller. I hope it does workout that the M90 from the thunderbird does have the same body, they seem very plentiful and quite cheap!

I prefer to make a bunch of expensive mistakes along the way to where I eventually want to be  Well on my way here.

I am being told it's a mistake to get S/Ced trucks in the first place
