This is tempting. I can't commit at this time so maybe I'll get on the wait list if things work out. The first Pig Party was in that same area and I loved it.

Bring in the swine contingent! They are sorely underrepresented at this event. Love to have you guys.

Went to Dinosaur National Monument with the kids last year. That’s the closest I got!

Glad your making it out. Excited to see all the work you have done on your rig.

He was actually one of the first 10 Doug. Was on the ball.

And that's what I get for not checking page 1! Glad to hear it though, his rig is quite a nice build and I'm sure many will enjoy seeing it. I should have some fun new mods on my FJ60 by that time plus other interesting toys to bring... :)

You going to hammer out the 60 Ute @dogfishlake style and bring it out?

Magic 8-ball says "outlook not so good" on that one. Too many customer projects getting in the way already - doing an R2.8 in a FJ40 right now and about to kick off a Willys build (blasphemy, I know). I'm feeling stressed about getting the Goat to SEMA, much less SAS. But you never know, sometimes miracles can happen.

Any vintage vehicle is cool in my book as long as it is done tastefully yet functional. Yeep, Kiaser, Power Wagon, Zukes, Scouts, Bronco can be cool if you leave the elite attitude at the door.

Is that your FJ55 in the photo?

Kay and I will definitely be there. We'll probably bring the '86 FJ60 again this year. I don't think I'll have the '71 FJ40 ready in time, still figuring out the build details. I do know the color though, it will be in line with my vote (Hint: One of three votes for that color). I'll step up to the plate again for a trail leader for some easier, scenic drives.

I think me and @Cowboy45 are in your color choice :)

Awesome John. Thank you for leading the way again. We have a good showing of 40s this year. May need to coordinate a run for the shortys.

Well, I could probably be able to finish the '71 FJ40 sooner than it'll take for the snow to melt off the FJ60 :).

Ale

we need to coordinate the road trip with all the TX folks. I believe Steve @abtx4x4 is in Houston as well.

I’ll be pushing him to drive faster if he takes his 60. If he has the 40, it will be powered by f350 and I’ll be left in the dust. @abtx4x4
