Progress shots from the painters. Metalwork is done. Some final sanding and then epoxy primer early this week.

The rats and squirrels got the best of the glove box. Zak made and installed a new piece.

I stopped at the painters today and was able to snap a few bare metal pics. The cowl vent pull is back in place. Things should start progressing pretty quickly once primer starts.

On our end, the clutch inspection cover is installed and I have started discussions with Dakota Digital to make some small changes to the VHX cluster.

If all goes according to plan, epoxy is going on tomorrow. Hopefully the last bare metal update. The process that they use will be Epoxy primer>seam sealer>high build primer>uv cure sealer>paint. The paint will be done before the chip guard.

AHH, I see now!

It'll get filed down before primer. I try not to interrupt them to often but it's hard to stay away. I was in the neighborhood this morning and did a donut delivery.

did a donut delivery.

I hope you are bringing them the highest quality, tastiest donuts you can find! They deserve it so far.

Today, after a parts delivery, i turned my attention to the radiator plumbing. I am short some clamps. It looks like rotating the union tee out will straighten the heater line.

After looking at the oil cooler pipe for a few weeks, I noticed that there are supposed to be 2 longer bolts that pass through the timing cover and secure the tabs with nuts. It is now secure and looks alot better. Some touch up paint will be going down in the near future.

We were not 100% on the available Dakota Digital guage cluster. There were a few small aesthetic details that didn't work with the stockish appearance that I have been trying to maintain. I know there is nothing stock about their solution, but i feel that a great set of guages is crucial.

Greg Karpe at Dakota Digital came through for the win.

Please provide feedback on this rendering.
