How much horse power did you gain? MPG?

no idea. its still a slow pig. i dont ever check MPG because its always single digit with my lower speed wheeling and hours of idle time per tank. i know the engine is much cleaner now. all the VSVs are gone under the intake. lots of room under the hood and no cats to bang all over stuff.

Here are a few I just snapped. Pipes are getting a little crusty now.

This is passenger side profile. The front edge of the stock muffler gets tagged once in a while, but mostly out of the way.

This is the rear passenger side exit point, looping over the rear frame rail and cut just above the rear bumper wing.

Cat protection plate. Bolted to a flange welded on the inside of the slider, to the IPOR skid plate, and a front stringer to a captive nut on the frame rail. Very stout.

Does this heat the floor any more than the OEM arrangement?

Dual Magnaflow cats on mine turned and up higher than the frame. Still have the stupid tailpipe under the frame though. It's smashed at the moment so I'm trying to get that fixed soon.

That’s why I went over the frame ASAP. I don’t trust myself to miss that little bugger under the frame!

A 105 downpipe puts you inside the frame from the start.

Before I knew about the 105 I raised my down pipe and my cat and went over the frame. Now I need to do a lot of body damage before the cat and down pipe will see any problems.

Have not measured, but theremay not bemuch room for onboard cats until you are rearward of the transfer case.

@Apounder What happened to your picture of the skid plates you posted yesterday? I posted it above, but now it is gone.

The O P wants to stay smog legal in California and may require both cats regardless of what we get away with in Az.

I missed that need could be tight but I would not rule it out. Just another reason not to live in a communist part of the state....

1HD? Did 105 even come in 1FZ flavor?

I got excited for like 0.227 seconds there until I realized I am in CA and need dual cats. Oh well.

Phil
how much do you charge the poor saps here in CA to register their cars in AZ at your address?
