Ammonia and water is a typical mixture for removing window tint, along with a single edge razor blade for the glue goo. I de-tinted a '76 F-150 and the tint came off rapidly this way.

Underneath, is that the original silver? I've never seen one that dark before! I have only ever seen them look like this one below.Learning my way around pin-striping today to transition from the gray to silver. I think it looks pimp. Had to order some blue I’ll play with too.

I remember scraping off the tint on my 1985 when I bought it and will never forget what a whipping it was, but so worth it. I eventually repainted this one and had it for 10 years until I fell hard for FJ40s. It was absolutely immaculate. Silver is a beautiful color on these.
