So based on what I saw in the pictures, I thought this would be a much better foundation for a Pig project than the Pig I got in SLC. I struck a deal with Dave, and on February 12th, 2008, the transporter delivered this beauty to my friend's shop in Fort Collins.

Step 1 was to transplant the 3FE from Pig 1 to Pig 2. Would it all fit? 3FE, PS, PTO?

I was glad when we figured out the answer was "Yes!". We had to get the radiator mounts reset to move the radiator all the way forward in the engine bay.

when you say “moved the radiator mounts” can you tell us how this was done?
I have a ‘69 that I am building and have the same interference issue.

I sent the radiator out to a shop to hot tank it and move the mounts.

Did that answer your question?

@Laughingjackal and I took our Cruisers out for a small adventure...

Did that answer your question?
It did but didn’t. The ‘69 I have has a radiator that already hits the frame and I cannot visualize any way of moving it further forward without body work or custom rad.
I could eliminate the fan clutch but don’t want to listen to the fan all the time.

What engine are you trying to clear?

My clutch master had been leaking for a while.
I had a replacement from Kurt @cruiseroutfit but I was not looking forward to getting that bolt next to the brake MC out, and then back in.
Yesterday was the day!
Everything went well and then got her bled:

Not to put the whammy on you Bob, but I had bought an Aisin clutch master and never could get it to work right. I bled it multiple times, but it wouldn't work the pressure plate, new slave cylinder, also. I bought another clutch master and threw the bad one on the shelve. 🤷‍♂️ The second one worked as it should. The next experiment was using a single circuit brake master for the clutch master, worked for a while and back to an Aisin clutch master.

Did you have to re,-adjust pedal. Drove 6 miles to store and back clutch stopped working. Bled it again firm pedal still nothing. Gonna try adjusting pedal and freeplay to see if it works 🤔😉.
No sir.
I set my arm the same length as the old throw.
Then I topped off the clutch master, crawled underneath and cracked open the bleeder which started dripping.
Next I depressed the clutch pedal and there was no resistance. I went out and checked the brake fluid level in the clutch MC - it had not dropped. I went and checked the bleeder, it was only dripping slowly. I went back and pressed the pedal and this time I could feel something, and I could hear the brake fluid shooting out of the bleeder. I closed up the bleeder, topped off the clutch and tried things out.
Yesterday the clutch would engage right off the floor, today it felt more like I am used to.
