Luv the low stance...
Im running a 2" lift myself.
Its absolutely freaking amazing a stock 80 series can bolt up a set of 37s & drive down the street.
Do you know of any other 4x that can do that?
It blows my mind....
My Hoopty Wagon
1" body lift & 1" suspension lift.
Lowered front bumps 1" & rear 1.5"
2" cut front fenders & gutted flares.
Non cut rear fenders & trimed flares.
3.5" BS 9" wheels.
37" ST Maxx Coop's
I forgot the rest.....

🤘👍. 5.29s?

Do you add 10% Tgears to keep over drive or what is the reasoning behind that vs jut doing 4:88’s?
I miscalculated my RPMs with 488s & 37s... I needed the extra 300 RPM the 10% SUMO underdrive Tcase gears offer to tow a travel trailer.

In the end I have a 5:36 ratio, a stronger pinion with 4:88s then the 5:29 pinion. Win Win.
Also the speedo is not effected by the 10% Tgears... meaning my speedo is only 1% over actual speed. GPS approved.

I love all these setups.

I am looking at upgrading to 37s next time I need new tires. My current setup is 850J (F) 863 (R) and have 30mm spacers on top of both of them. I am concerned about how much it might rub and how much I might have to cut. I have been following @Box Rocket build and see what he has done as far as bump stops and relocating the front axle and am completely open to doing those mods as long as I don't have to cut or remove flairs.

So you didn't relocate the axle and only lowered your front bump stops 1" and you clear your 37s with 17x9 with 3.5" backspace? Is that for just road driving or do you clear when articulated as well? (Do you get away with that because of your radius arm drop brackets? Seems like most people have to move that front axle forward)

Thanks for the great info!
