37x12.5R17 Yokohama Geolander. 6.5" lift. Great road manners. Happy with the performance rain, mud, and rock. BUT the sidewalls cut easily.

It is my first time being on a 37 inch tire. What is the recommended tire pressure, or is that brand specific?
I will likely be dropping back down to 35s. So wanted to post the current setup before I'm banished to the 35" thread.

It looks pretty leveled with this setup .. which surprise me, given the fact usually OME promotes higer spring rate on rear coils / springs witht the load carring capacity on target ..
From my research this pair is common but for heavy trucks. My lift is giving me around a 5in lift. 25.5-26” hub to fender on all corners.
Chalk test is your best bet.
Inflate to max PSI, apply chalk to all 4 tires and roll back and forth for about 10-15 feet.
Check the chalk marks, re-chalk the tires again. Deflate 2 psi repeat first step, continue till the WHOLE chalk mark is worn off.
Use tire inflation tables from your manufacturer to determine appropriate psi for load.
Chalk testing is a great way to ensure you have good contact for consistent wear but doesn’t necessarily mean you have the appropriate PSI to meet tire load requirements.
Why are you going back to 35's?
5” lift and 35s. Wow!
It’s a bit too tall for me and it’s not regeared. I’m going to try and lower the suspension before replacing the tires.

Hey, it’s an 80, has a 1fz and everything.
Went back to 35s on this one, took the snorkel off, changed the wheels. Donated the bumpers and sliders to Ouray Mountain Rescue at SAS, going to use the new @Bump It Offroad parts.
