Too damn hot here in Austin (100F), so I worked in the living room. Had to solder some hacked wires from the PO splicing in a trailer harness. Not too shabby. I'll get some wire loom and it will be ready to install.

Next milestone! Just picked up the tub and some other bits that were sand blasted and epoxy primered. I'm now going to weld shut the aux gas filler hole and some small pinhole spots where the gas tank sits.

Your tub was sitting outside when I picked mine up. I assume it's next, but you might want to call him.
What's wrong with lining the inside wear areas?
Yeah, I like that stuff.Any updates Dave? That tub looks solid. I can't wait to see some color on it.
Also, don't know if you're interested in going this direction, but I used some braided split loom that looks really good and it's easy to install. It looks a lot better than the ribbed split loom. Something like this:

Thanks Jason. I'll keep that in mind when I do the inside.Go with the Monstaliner. No affiliation, but I have used it on several tubs, rockers, truck beds and a full 60 liner job (Goss).... Product is great and is much more durable than other DIY kits out there. If you go with a lighter texture, it cleans VERY EASILY!.. Roll it twice per coat (2x) and let it self level from there. (this will give you a thicker mil count than rolling it to death and applying 3 coats...) That is the perfect interior texture IMO.
Its looking very nice Dave,
Good job.
Jason
Thanks Jason. I'll keep that in mind when I do the inside.
What do you think of using it as an under coating?
