I have a spare carb that might get you what you need I'll shoot some pics tomorrow. Jon

Dang, I just placed a $200 order at cruiserparts .

Do send me pics though; who knows if I'll get everything I need from them.

Thank you!

Thanks, man

I need some advice from the Cruiser hive:

I'm still looking for the above throttle/accelerator linkage parts.

A buddy of mine has a 60 Series with a April/'85 build date, and he has offered to sell me his parts.

My question is, is that even though they share the same 2F, were the parts the same on the 40 Series?
Here are the pics as promised let me know if your interested in any of it.

Awesome.

Thanks @nelsonjm624 . Let me see what comes in from cruiserparts and I'll know if I am short on anything.

Made a new hard fuel line (supply side).

(You can also spy my new power steering system from Valley Hybrids)

Here's where she sits now.

She has a major overbite from the hood. I was racking my brain trying to figure out why, until it dawned on me that the cowl/hood is independent of the fenders/bib/skirts. So if I loosen the body bolts, then adjust the position of the body on the frame, I can fine tune the hood fitment.

Still need to do it, but at least I figured out what's going on, and how to address it.

Heat shields came back from the powdercoater.

Hey Andrew, love your build, looks great. If you are going to use the stock air filter assembly that fuel line may be too tall at the carb to fit underneath it. I made a new fuel line this week and had to make a second one after I tried put the filter assembly on. I had to make a 90 deg bend right at the carb to fit underneath it. Here's a pic:

Yup, you are exactly right. I found out a few days ago when I went to put the cleaner on. Doh!

Maybe I can find someone who wants a nice new fuel line who is running an aftermarket cleaner.

It looks like it may also work with the older style housing, but I'm not positive. Anyway, keep up the great work.

Lookie what came in today!

Sexy! One for me, and one to be sold on eBay.

Linkage is in! It's hot as fawk in my carport; I don't foresee doing too much work while it's like this. :(

Finally got my heater tube (the correct one) from CruiserParts. Fits (just barely) behind the DUI Distributor.

Air filter restoration. All powdercoated and cadmium plated. Unortunately, this is not the correct filter housing for my 1978. I knew this going into it but figured that while I was getting things powder coated and plated I could get this done too, and sell it to recoup some of the cost of my project. It's beautiful. Hopefully someone can put it to good use. I'll probably sell it on ebay with the rest of the restored parts I don't actually need.

That being said, can someone pinpoint what year this filter went on? I'm thinking it is a 60 Series 2F, but not exactly sure.

Finally got around to making the new hard fuel line to the carburetor. Turned out pretty good!

Also installed the purge line for the charcoal canister.

I could use a little help here. I'm fairly confident the red circle goes to the air filter assembly. I am unsure as to where the yellow and blue circles connect. Can someone shine some light on this for me?
