I remember Gas lines!! Ran out in my 68 Chrysler Newport inches from the pump 5 gallon limit in a car that didn't have a working gas gage and got 5 miles to the gallon

One a little late suggestion for random parts and ideas. Aircraft Spruce has a warehouse near me in Ga. and has all sorts of parts for experimental plane builders. They used to have a dedicated race car catalog due to the overlap of usable parts for car projects. I was just in there picking up tubing and 3 inch duct for the Gambler 500 snorkel. If you are ever in Orlando Skycraft is an old surplus store that does mainly hardware and wiring with a lot of random other items mixed in.

There were two holes for the old shifters and then a huge hole for the longer cases. If there was any question if I am a professional transmission tunnel builder..... I’m not. BUT holes are plugged and there isnt 10,000* air blowing on me at all times. The triple stick part took a min to make it all work. If I get bored, I’ll redo it. Center console should be able to go back in.

the carpet has a layer of sound dampening attached to it from the previous owner. I think I want to get rid of the carpet, but its still in right now.

Buddy let me borrow this little portable brake. Was pretty cool.
