I have a bunch of plastic body trim tools and scrapers, and just did this job 2 nights ago using one of them. About 5 mins to get the big stuff/strips off, and then another hour per door to scrape all the black stuff that is remaining. I plan to use 3M adhesive remover as a final cleaning step, then some alcohol prior to re-installing new weatherstripping.
