The update for today is the progress on this hood. Posted some “before” pics on the previous page. Since then, the paint got stripped and the hammering and ironing of the beat up sheetmetal has commenced. At this point currently, it’s way better than I ever expected it could be, and think it can come out even better still. Pictures do absolutely no justice, before or current.

Made a “slapper” out a piece of leaf spring.
One body hammer and two dollies. Bought two more dollies off the MATCO guy, but haven’t used them yet.

Got all the mechanicals worked out, but like lots of other projects, it stalled out once it got down to paint and body work.
