Looking forward to seeing the top go on. Several major things happening all at once, but seems you've got them handled. 👍
Thanks man. These have been my big 2023 goals to hit.

I'm doing the pillar different and may not include the step down for where the roof lays, I may just build the pillar square and blend the roof in with bog/sanding.

Should be pretty far in the next 3-4 weeks

I am planning on a USA trip with the wife. Hopefully you don't need me still by 2025.
Good on you. I'll be shocked if I have my pig apart and the A-Pillars repaired by 2025. 😂

With what you have seen so deep in that A pillar, do you think it is possible to run wirering down the center, or are there blocks. I have been trying with a coat hanger and have been having little success.

Try weed eater line. Not saying it will work but probably more likely than a coat hanger.

A Pillars peiced together. Time to glue them in.

Australian ruling when it comes to modified vehicles, and in the state I live in New South Wales it's 10x more hoops to jump through.

So for chassis shortening the cut needs to be plated externally over 250mm either side of the cut, of the same material thickness.

Then mountians of paperwork, material purchase reciept, photographic evidence before&after, followed by a signed document by the welder.

Here I am just wanting to make cool fj55s.

For 16 years I’ve watched folks start from places I wouldn’t dream of in my wildest nightmares. You are at the top of my list with this Pig many of us would have questioned even being a parts vehicle. Incredible work…Onward!
Thank you! It's certainty been a test of patience.
