Looks sweet Pat. Can't wait until my truck goes to paint. Let me know your list of misc part that you need. I know I have a ton of junk laying around and I might have some stuff.

Trying to figure out a weekend to come out and give you a hand:wrench::wrench: or at least come and drink your  and heckle you while you work.

Johnny I am thinking about light Grey or tan, this is going to be a beach truck and I dont want to sit inside a black tub baking in the hot sun! THe underside will be black though. I think ill go with the U-pol raptor liner.

Jay ill let ya know, I found a whole box of brand new 40 parts that I bought 2+ years ago inthe attic today, plenty of nut and bolting to be done!

dont worry about the timeframe...im closin in on three years...!!! I like the color you choose.

I am closing in on 5 since I bought my first "builder" truck. (got married, bought a house, moved my shop and business while building it) I have owned about 6-7 trucks since then, non of them drove or ran. HA! I just want this one out of the shop this winter some time.

looks like you have a great little project going here! keep up the good work!

Cluch slave will be assembled tonight! I had motor mounts and fork right, but I couldn't find the right brackets to make it work! I had to do some digging this AM in the barn and I found what I need.

I think I am going to color match the liner inside the truck to the outside color.

I sprayed some bed liner last night. I used 2 bottles of black UPOL Raptor Liner. I find that 70-75psi is a good rule of thumb, good light coverage, even texture, and dosnt burn through the liner as quick.

My plan is to use the black color like undercoat, and then tint the stuff inside the tub blue to color match it. SO I am trying to use the black sparingly, so I dont run out. There is a TON of real estate to cover on the underside of the tub.

After getting a TON of taping done, and said "well its time to start spraying' Fired up the compressor and tried to adjust the pressure down from wide open, then the pressure regulator blew up in my hand. I looked over in the corner and realized I jsut filled the power tank.

Oh yea, game on.

I am going to try to spray the whole truck with the power tank. Its clean, DRY CO2 and it costs me a whopping 25$ to fill it! Another bonus is I dont have to listen to the compressor the whole time I am spraying!

Regulator after spraying, it didnt freeze up, but it got a little frosty!

With some major help from Jay and Jimmy, we made some huge progress yestreday.
Started with getting the body back on the frame. Then got the cage bolted down, and the rear seat. The seats/bracket re-mocked up and had to modify the seat bracket a little bit for the gas filler neck. I also got the rest of the panels back from the painter, and they need to be shot with the bedliner before they get bolted on.

I assembled the body. Still working on getting it all lined up. Now its the part of the project where I gota paint little pieces, wait for them to dry then bolt them on. The end is coming soon!
