no-one eats intercooler water from internal charge cooler failure either.....was the pointThat has to be literally solving for the least likely scenario while sacrificing every other benefit.
Come on.
Correction I meant 4.88 with 37 and stage 1 is the sweet spot. I have 35s and 4.88 and will be installing 10% over drive to get me back close to 4.56. Ideally stock 4.1 with 35s for my set up.How many more Cheetos will the turbo Produce? I’m asking because I’m in the process of moving to 37 with my 93, and obviously gears will be my first mod, but thinking about more power down the road…
OK, so that is all dialing in everything around the turbo then? Because the standard one FZ with 4.56 gears and 37 isn’t the sweet spot, right?4.56 with 37 and stage 1 is the sweet spot. I have had turbo for 4 years now. Put smallish Mishimoto catch can when everything was installed. Checked early on often, now in-between oil changes I get approx. 1/2 a tablespoon of oil. So it's doing it's job, I have a very good running engine, rarely put oil in, between changes. What's is the consensus on oil catch cans for/on boosted motors?
I’m totally in for the dog!So cool! I’m just a few years past owning an 80 series when all this cool stuff comes out.
Still waiting for an 80 series to fall into my lap so I can turbo it…
Trades? I’ve got an Irish wolfhound puppy that tears up toilet paper, a 6’7” 16yo son basketball player with college interest already, a couple guitars, oh and one of those all in one washer/dryers that works really good![]()
Im in! You may regret that dog!I’m totally in for the dog!
Once my rig is back from paint let’s meet up for driving and beers in that order!
I believe @cruiserdan has been running methanol on a supercharged 80 for quite awhile now.Johnny, what's the consensus on adding methanol into the mix?
Really interested in the price point of the OBD-I kits. Was going to go LS but the mechanic that was going to do the swap for money owed passed away and I am starting over again. Would love to keep the Toyota!Super close to having @efjayatee 93 done. A bit of testing then it will be available. Will be more expensive due to electronics
