Here you go on the placement of front and rear shackle hanger. Not sure if this will help because you are doing shackle reversal. If I were you I’d not do a shackle reversal.

Thanks @Hojack i appreciate the info never hurt to have too much info. You moved your front axle forward didn’t you? Is the rear in its original location?

I believe the rear went back an inch and front went forward an inch. I’m going to move the front back on inch with the U-bolt plate. It’s now centered with holes on each side. Moving it back as I had front wheel contact at max flex in front.
I really don’t want to cut the body. Like the stock body look. With 35s you’d be okay.

@Hojack can you get the measurement from bolt hole to bolt hole frame side on the front and rear springs? That will give him the shackle angle to play with. Positioning/axle location will be up to him. Thanks

So essentially you didn't end up moving the front axle then, it is staying constant.

Update time! I decided to go ahead and do the Chevy 63” leaf spring swap, I got the correct leaf springs and also got the swap kit from Ruff Stuff Specialities. The Miller Multimatic 220 that I ordered arrived on Friday. Man, am I pumped to get to work. Need to finish grinding the leaf spring hangers and then start welding on the new hangers.

That’s the plan. The multimatic makes it pretty easy to adjust the settings but I’ll definitely make sure to practice on some scrap first.

Factory hangers are all grinded off. Rear springs are laying under the front of the vehicle ready to get fabbed in and Chevy 63” springs are laying u Der the rear awaiting the same treatment. Now if I could get Virginia to warm up a bit.

I'm almost ready to graduate to this from my Miller 110. You're gonna love having this at your disposal.
Everything I read and everything people said was get a machine that is better than what you are that way you can grow into it. Buy once cry once. I figure I can do small projects to help offset the cost.

I’ve ran a few beads on some scrap metal off the land cruiser, I’m having a lot of fun learning this skill set. I gotta build up some consumables so I’ve been arc welding. It’s cool! Here is a couple welds from today. I thought I had installed my flux core roll but I accidentally installed the solid core so that is the explanation for those ugly tall welds.

Looks like your getting the hang of it brother.

Well this weekend was very productive. Front axle is in! Placement is pretty good, I’m happy with its location. That Miller Multimatic 220 is an awesome welder, used flux core wire on the frame and it was fun and satisfying to weld with. I’ll need to rebuild the locking hubs because they felt tight as I was putting them back together and I messed one of them up when installing, but didn’t wanna pull it back apart because I don’t have the gaskets, so that will be on order soon. But you all probably just wanna see pictures....
